Welcome to Miss Lori’s Preschool in Las Vegas, Nevada
Hello. My name is Lori Zenquis. I teach a preschool in my home. I hold a Master's Degree in Education, and have taken Early Childhood classes through CSN. I taught for ten years in the Clark County School District, four of them in kindergarten. I have 2 children of my own, ages 8 and 10. I hold a current teaching certificate and am licensed as a home preschool through the State of Nevada. I love teaching preschool, and being a special person in each child's life. I really enjoy watching the amazing growth and development that happens during just one year!
Advantages of In-Home Preschool
As a licensed, in-home preschool, I am only allowed to have 6 children enrolled per class. This means that your child will be receiving a great deal of personal attention from the teacher. The classes tend to remain stable, and the children form close bonds with their classmates. As the teacher, I will communicate with you personally both before and after class. I am able to give special attention to any concerns that you may have, and am readily available to communicate with you via e-mail or phone anytime throughout the week.
Our Daily Routine
We follow a structured (but flexible) daily routine:
- Greet and play
- Circle time-often includes a story, flashcards, songs, show and tell
- Math activity
- Snacks
- Outdoor play
- Arts & crafts
- Cooking
- Handwriting
I have my Master's in Education. I have worked as a teacher for the
Clark County Schools for over 10 years, and have taught kindergarten for 4 years. I hold both a current Nevada teaching license and am licensed by the State of Nevada as an in-home preschool. I love working with children!
